Detroit residents may soon vote on legalizing marijuana
Detroit residents may soon be voting on whether to legalize marijuana in their city, The Detroit Free Press reports.
On Friday, the Michigan Supreme Court cleared the way for a referendum question that could make Detroit the state’s first city to legalize the green stuff.
Voters can expect to see the question—asking them to legalize possession and use of up to 1 ounce of the drug, on private property, by those 21 and older—during a Aug. 7 primary election, the paper reports.
